Anyway, I guess that means I’m bed-ridden until things… pass *shudders*, which at least means plenty of time for fics.  I’ll put the next one up in a couple hours after I take a bath and get some sleep (remember that nap I took last night?  Yeah, it turned into something more like me hobbling about in pain waiting for the hydros to kick in and then finally getting a few hours of sleep between 2 and 5am -_-).  

Well you be careful! No caffeine, no salty foods, lots of water, citrus, and fiber, right?

You know, it just seems too obvious to accidentally draw the curtains aside, so maybe Rumple did have the curtains open when Belle was there.

Belle made him feel human, made him feel like maybe there was hope, so what would Rumple do? Try to convince himself he was a dark beast with no love left. By nailing the curtains down, he could’ve been trying to remind himself of that or even just doing it to see how Belle would react.

maybe he knew she’d fall trying to get them down and was waiting for his chance to be her knight in shining…scales

My theory on this (aside from the fact that I really think it was just a continuity error) is that Belle comes to Rumple in late Summer, they close the drapes for the winter, and by Spring she’s ready to open them again.

But seriously, I think they just goofed.

Oh, it’s not my first time watching Firefly. I’m not even sure it’s less than the 20th time, TBQH. I haven’t watched it in about 6 months, though, so I was due for a re-view.

Thank you all for the excellent advice on how to deal with severe sun burn and sun poisoning.  I’m glad to report that I’m feeling (but not looking) much better, and I was able to at least get a bit of stuff done through the work day.

I’ve hit my reading / napping limit for the day, so I’m going to go watch as much Firefly as I can until I fall asleep again.  I’m not sure if I’ll be blogging or not, but if I do, my “# Cranky finds Serenity” tag will apply to anyone who wants to Blacklist.

I made the mistake of watching an Epic Meal Time video. and my Sun Poisoning nausea just went to 11.

Something about them helps the heat and pain. They helped me in the 8th grade after bad burns from being at Carowinds. I also laid on my bed naked and had a fan blowing on low speed on me.

I’d never heard the dish soap thing before, that’s pretty interesting. In bed with a fan, though — that one I’ve definitely got going for me.

Well, it’s official: I am working from home (rather ineffectually) toady, due to a case of Sun Poisoning.

I didn’t reapply my sunscreen after taking a dip in the swimming hole at our LARP event, and I’m about as crispy-red as it’s possible for a 1st-degree burn to get before crossing over into 2nd-degree land.

Let this serve as a PSA to all of my followers — please take care of your skin and stay safe this summer!
